We visited King Ludwigs last Thursday for lunch. When I had phoned for a reservation the lady who owns was very nice on the phone. When we arrived she was also very nice. There were 5 of us all retirees in our 60's. The waitress who was very nice asked what we would like to drink and listed the beers etc. We all said no we would not have alcohol. The poor girl came back 3 times to ask what we would like to drink, I believe at the insistence of the the owner. We ordered from the lunch menu and one of our group ordered the salmon dish. from the A La Carte menu. One of our favourites places for my husband and myself to experience great food, amazing breathtaking views, warm friendly personal efficient wait service from all staff especially our lovely owner/host. There was a big group having a wonderful Christmas in July with the German Bavarian jolly music which entertained us as well. Took us back to when we have been in Germany. We needed to escape from family health issues and certainly assisted us in relaxing and enjoying life as it can be joyous. Thank you again to all at King Ludwigs. We as always are keen to return.
Jobmatch Employment held their Christmas in July staff and Board get together at King Ludwigs recently. We had 33 staff and partners present and we could not have asked for a more enjoyable function. Everything was to perfection. The food was out of this world, the range of beers more than you could expect but most noticeable was the hospitality of Barbara and her team. Well done and highly recommended for a quiet get together or as we did a great party.
Our daughter treated us a meal for combined Birthday and Fathers Day and what a treat it was.The food was fit for a king, the views of the Glasshouse Mountains were unrestricted , the staff friendly, helpful and very genuine. We Sat outside on the verandah. The beer was cold and inviting. From the time we arrived till the time we left we were greeted and treated like family.

WOW this place is awesome. today was our 9th anniversary and our 3rd visit to King Ludwigs. My husband and I would highly recommend this restaurant to any one who loves superb food with an amazing view of the Sunshine Coast. the amazing hosts and service was above all expectations.
My first visit to King Ludwigs. Great location and atmosphere. Excellent food, we both chose the Duo Steak/Veal.. very tender and perfectly cooked. Service great and despite staying several hours, we were not rushed. Met Barbara the Owner and she was delightful. We will be back.
My husband and I came here for lunch for our 10th wedding anniversary. We had the best time. The food was amazing and the view is stunning. The waitresses are attentive without being intrusive. We highly recommend going here. You will definitely enjoy it!
It's a true experience at Ludwigs. Once you pass the gorgeous doors some of the most vibrant personalities greet you and take you to another world of German culture. The hosts are excellent at what they do
