I had a disappointing experience at the restaurant over the weekend. When I arrived, the place was empty. I mentioned that we were going to order, but I needed to use the restroom. In the past year, it has never been locked. When I approached the guy at the front counter to ask for the key, he simply said that the restroom was off-limits. I explained that I was about to order food and there were three of us there, but he completely ignored me and kept watching the TV. Although there is a sign stating that the restroom is for customers only, my family members were already at the counter preparing to order. Frustrated, I told them to cancel their orders and decided to leave.
Went for lunch today 3/6/24 around 1:30pm and I had the most horrible food and service at this location. The chicken was dry and had very little taste. It was cold and wasn’t fresh at all!!! I was also told that I could get any fries as one of my with my side and was never offered any Yuca fries until we paid extra for yuca fries after the fact. The yuca fries were not fried properly and we threw most of it out!!!!Horrible food and horrible service. I wouldn’t advise anyone to waste their money for horrible food and service at King Pollo restaurant and bar!!!
This restaurant has reached its lowest point ever. I've been a patron through several changes in ownership, and it has never been as disappointing as it is now. Since it transitioned into a bar/restaurant, the quality of the food has dropped significantly. It used to be a family-friendly venue, but that’s no longer the case. I even witnessed a family being kicked out in the middle of the day, which is simply unacceptable. If you're looking for a great meal and a positive experience, I recommend going elsewhere.
The rice was HARD!! And disgusting. They took a lot of time just to cook the food!!! The steak was so little for it's price and it had a weird after taste. The soup wasn't that bad but it wasn't good either. And the employe was bit rude and only two people were working. Wish I could rate it higher.

Food is not fresh!Small flies around food!You can tell the food was made at least 3 days ago minimum.No flavor on food!Fried rice was horrible!I ordered a toco bowl.The restaurant needs to be cleaned even the plexiglass glass is dirtyJust go in and see for your self!
This place used to be great, with amazing food.Unfortunately, last time I went in they were rude and gave me old sour cream in my burrito, so I could not eat it. Also, I noticed that they did not change gloves when going from a surface to food handling.
The worst experience I've ever had was at this restaurant. The server acted like he was forced to be there and took care of us very poorly. I have no idea how long the chicken had been cooking, but it had a bad smell.
