The salsa policy is the worst part of King Taco. They have an amazing salsa, but treat it like it’s made out of God’s blood. 1 small little salsa pack for two sopes is outrageous and diminishes the eating experience. Especially given the higher than average price for Mexican food. It’s sad, I love this place, love their story, the food and general environment of so many of their stores but there are now much better places without this need to gouge customers an extra 99 cents for an extra salsa. This might be my last time here.
I've visited this restaurant multiple times but never took the time to write a review. As someone from out of town, I've consistently had wonderful experiences here. During my most recent visit on August 2, 2024, the tacos were served generously—just look at the picture I uploaded; they were packed with meat. Although there was a bit of a wait since I arrived at 7 PM, it was definitely worth it.
The restaurant is what it is: a popular spot for tacos, but don't expect the highest standards of hygiene. The line is consistently long, and parking can be a challenge. Lately, the taste of the food hasn't impressed me as much, and I've noticed a similar lack of flavor at other locations as well. Not sure what’s going on.
If I could give this place zero stars, I would. The service is incredibly slow, both when being seated and receiving food. To top it all off, I found a piece of nail in my burrito. It was absolutely the worst experience I've ever had, and I will never return.

My favorite place for sopes and tacos de lengua and chicharrón. At this king taco, you wait for the food inside. There's a bench to sit, or you can sit on the chairs .
Poor service only one register open and 20 people in line observed. Also, the people are very slow workers. Unbelievable always over an hour waiting on food.
Well, I had to wait 1 hour and a half for 10 tacos. Good thing, it was worth it because the food is delicious but very, very slow.
I want to say their tacos got smaller since the last time we were there, but they are still good.
