Kingfish - Reserva de mesa

I had the opportunity to dine here with my husband for our anniversary dinner on a Monday night and the whole evening was a great experience. We had last minute decided to cancel our reservations at another restaurant and decided to visit Kingfish instead. Without reservations, we were able to get in immediately, which was great! The meal started with some complimentary bread which was delicious, but did make quite the mess from how toasted it was (nevertheless, always a good start to a meal). For drinks, my husband ordered a Rag Bone and I ordered the Ramos Gin Fizz. Both drinks were so refreshing, but the Gin Fizz was an entire experience! First sat at the bar, but had to move after a few minutes since there were tons of gnats fruit flies coming from near the beer taps. Once I got a table, it took a while for a server to come over. I asked about some craft cocktails and the server had no clue. She asked another server, who also didn’t know. Staff was very nice but it’s pretty surprising that several servers didn’t seem to know anything about their craft cocktail menu. Chicken sandwich for dinner was good and came out fast.

Food was excellent. We had the pork nachos with pork rhines instead of chips the pork was so sweet and tender, delicious and highly recommended. Also had the jambalaya risotto very good but do not go into it thinking it is just a regular order of jambalaya, the twist with the risotto made a huge (tasty) difference. Also had the scallop fettuccine absolutely perfect. Service was wonderful and staff worked together on all tables to provide any need that came up. Will go back again.

My cocktail was very much so soda water and lime with ice. There was a splash of tequila if that, but the crawfish bread was good. The first bartender was not friendly and made us feel like he would have rathered we kept walking. He wasn't even a little pleasant. The second bartender said she's had to fix his drinks regularly. Stopped in for brunch. Service was great. We had the jambalaya risotto with two over medium eggs, the crab cake benedict, and the cinnamon pecan roll. Everything was delicious but the roll was star of the show. Bottomless mimosas did not disappoint.

Suphronia “Sophia” was the ABSOLUTE BEST She was very sweet and nice … If you ever go REQUEST her. The food was AMAZING as well ! Best food I had during my trip to New Orleans And don’t forget the bottomless mimosas!

The atmosphere and server Destiny was amazing. She was thoughtful, kind, and attentive. I had Avocado toast and it was great. Even the host that welcomed us in the restaurant was great. Loved it

Went twice for boozy breakfast and they did. Ot disappoint. Great food bottomless bloodies and mimosa and attentive service. No wait for a great table too.

The waitress was absolutely wonderful. The food was delicious. If I lived in NOLA, I would come back often.
