"We waited two hours for delivery. Two hours ! They didn;t message me to let me know either - i rang up after 90 minutes and he told me the car had broken down. When he arrived at the house he told me the driver was sick - could;t even keep his excuses consistent. And not so much as a free popadom ! Food wasn;t too bad but two hour delivery is a joke."

We moved to this area and were told this was a great restaurant. Not now, in my opinion. Have been a couple of times in recent months for convenience. Food is ok but inconsistent...ie. the quality of the samosas, mint sauce, naan bread all can vary. Rice is good. Some sauces are just too salty..ie Bhuna, and are all a bit too similar to each other.Recently we were informed after ordering, that they were out of raita because they had been closed for a week...seriously?!There are two supermarkets across the road!! Service can be very very slow when busy..the only waitress we have seen there seems to have to do everything...greet and seat customers, take orders, deliver the food, clear and set tables and all while answering the phone and taking takeaway orders all evening! She is pleasant but overworked. Have never seen a manager/owner there to ask customers "how was your meal?"There is also an unpleasant musty smell like damp carpet? The decor is dated and the whole place could do with a facelift.

I'm not an expert of Indian food by any means. I eat it at least once a week and am fairly adventurous and try someone new from the menu every order. I do know what some dishes are supposed to be like the thali which was advertised in the front window of this restaurant. I've driven by on several times and was finally able to give it a go. What a disappointment. Rather than a variety of and balance of sweet, salty bitter, sour, astringent and spicy I got 3 dark meat curries that looked almost the same on the plate and were in the same flavour category a less than generous serving of rice and a side of roti. And the lamb was overcooked. And one galum jamon on the plate which was pretty good. Where was the variety of balance of flavours? Where was the yoghurt, dal, vegetables, chutney and pickles? Just a few curries on a plate and overpriced at that. Very disappointed to say the least and I'll be looking for a good thali.

The curry (chicken, beef and lamb dishes) was pretty good and overall tasty as were the starters and side dishes. Unfortunately I realised a day later that we had been overcharged for what we ordered. Perhaps it was a simple mistake and these things do happen. Disappointing though and as locals we will probably not return. If you are thinking of going then I would say definitely check it out because the food overall was good, just check your bill to make sure it matches what you ordered.
