I 'm not convinced that all of the photos on here are of this place. We didn 't see any tablecloths, fancy food, or a bar. We were seated in the window next to a slush puppy machine, and shelves for household items cigarettes, as it is also a small 'corner shop '. The coffee was ok but not outstanding, and the food reasonably priced and decent quality. They also have Gluten free vegetarian items, including baked potatoes, sandwiches, and omelettes. My ham egg omelette was under £4. Two lunches and 2 coffees came to £12, which is good value. It 's disconcerting when several items on the well-worn menu are crossed out though. Kings Coffee is a lovely little coffee shop and I would recommend coming with friends for a drink or breakfast. Staff are really friendly too. My friend suggested that we try the venue on a Friday night... I was confused but then learnt that upstairs becomes a cool and relaxing bar on an evening with an interesting array of cocktails and drinks. A really nice atmosphere takes you away from the hustle and bustle of Wetherspoons! Check out frequent groupon vouchers and try to book a table as it is only a small place.
We stopped by for a mid-morning drink and a scone today. My wife enjoyed her hot chocolate, but my pot of tea was only lukewarm. We were given the choice of cheese or fruit scones and opted for fruit. Unfortunately, we were disappointed to see the assistant taking scones out of the freezer. If we hadn't already paid, we would have left. After a few minutes, the scones arrived sliced in two and warm. We both dislike warm scones. It was clear that they were frozen and not made fresh daily as one would anticipate.
Not lived in Norton long and was at the green for the May Day fair. Popped in to check them out and was delighted by the friendliness of the staff. Place was really busy and very happy. When I discovered they could replace a roll with Gluten Free toast with the home made soup I became a regular customer!! They have GF bagels too apparently.next time.....Soup was delicious if a little thin.....but at £2.50 a really good and hot option.

Two lovely ladies were serving when we visited for the first time, and they tried their best, but this cafe simply did not match up with the other quality cafe experiences in the area. The view out over the duck pond was a plus, but everything else was a bit disappointing. The lemon Meringue hardly tasted of lemon. The fact that it is also a shop, and this detracted from the 'cafe experience ', did not help.
This appears to be a new venture run by a mum and daughter team. I've never seen a coffee shop so impeccably clean! The toilet was like a showpiece. Fantastic coconut and berry homemade scone. Coffee tasty but I'll remember to order a weaker one next time. Excellent value for money.
First and foremost I would like to say the cafe is called POND VIEW NOT KINGS COFFEE. The staff were very friendly and the coffee excellent. We didn’t have to wait long to be served . I think this review should go under Pond View cafe not Kings coffee
Morning coffee this time, lunch last time. The food was ok. My friend had the soup-bit watery for leek n potato, my sandwich was a bit disappointing but I've had worse. Friendly staff, comfy seats and v wide selection of Real teas make up for it.

I met my husband for a quick lunch and it was perfect. We had a nice view of the duck pond, the service was friendly and quick, and the food was freshly prepared.
This café is wonderful! The ice cream is delicious, and the view of the duck pond from the cozy seating is very charming. The staff is friendly and welcoming.
