This was an amazing place for a late lunch. The hostess was warm and excited to know it was our first visit. She was knowledgeable, professional and asked if we preferred savory or spicy. This information was then given to our server who cameover and gave us an overview of the menu. As we waited we enjoyed the music and Jamaican vibes. The only thing missing was thesound of the ocean. We started with the spinach patty. It literally melts in your mouth. The owner came over a few times tocheck on our comfort level. I had the oxtails with cabbage, planting plantain, and peas and rice. This establishment has aSunday Brunch, Wednesday Wind Down, Karaoke, and Live music. treat yourself. Excellent...

Overall, my experience at this restaurant was disappointing. The young lady who took my order was friendly, but after waiting 20 minutes, I was informed that they were out of jerk chicken, which was half of my order. The manager rudely attempted to charge me extra for substituting with oxtails, which I didn't want. I requested a refund instead, and the manager complied grudgingly. When I got home, the curry chicken was watery and unappetizing. I should have been wary when they mentioned they also owned the Mexican restaurant next door. I won't be returning to this establishment.
I recently visited this restaurant for the first time, and it’s conveniently situated just down the street from my workplace. The food was incredibly tasty, and it was clear that everyone was having a great time. We also ordered some takeout. We chose a variety of dishes, and the cost per person was between $20 and $30. I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere a perfect 5 out of 5. I highly recommend trying the Jerk Pasta – it was one of the standout dishes!
We waited more than 20 minutes to place our order at this restaurant. The music was extremely loud, which made it hard for the server to hear us. He had to keep asking us for our order due to the noise. Unfortunately, both the curry goat and curry chicken were way too salty to enjoy. Overall, I would rate the food a 2, the service a 1, and the atmosphere a 1 as well. Reserva una mesa ahora
I will definitely be visiting again. The waitress ?Lil Bit? was amazing! Not only was she a great server, her bartending skills were superb! I ordered a Bahama Mama I think) and it was sooo good! The food was good! They have live music Wednesdays on thepatio so we sat out there. The weather was nice and the musician was exceptional.
Thank you Lil Bit, for serving us with a beautiful smile and a spirit of excellence. Oh and the banging Bahama Mamma ?yes ma?am!!!! We will be back just because of you. The guitarist was great and a nice touch to the ambiance on the patio. Also, thank you for putting my sauce on the side ? my fish was yummy ???? .
The food at this restaurant is truly incredible! The jerk chicken egg rolls with sauce are delicious, and the oxtails are so tender that they nearly fall off the bone. And I can't forget to mention the rum punch—it's the best! This place is definitely the go-to for Jamaican cuisine on the Southside.
The food is expertly seasoned, offering the genuine Caribbean flavors you desire. The service is exceptional, just as you would anticipate from a Jamaican restaurant. The ambiance also lives up to expectations. Reserva una mesa ahora
The oxtail tacos are worth the drive alone. The trout was amazing, too. My only complaint was that we had to keep fanning gnats at the bar. Howver, I will be going back!
Great customer service and food was delicious. The oxtails were like sweet and savory. Best oxtails I?ve had since I lived with my Jamaican friend in New York.
