Went for the first time yesterday with my husband. He is a carnivore and I a vegetarian/pescatarian. He had the beef pattie and i had the vegetable pattie. As per him it is one of the best he has ever had. The veggie pattie was soooo good. You could tell it was made on premises the veggies were identifiable and had a bite to them. The coco bread was AMAZING! A must have. They only take cash and they have a atm on site.

This is the best Caribbean bakery I have ever visited. The patties are absolutely delicious, and the coco bread is the freshest I have ever tasted in my life! The carrot juice is amazing and incredibly refreshing. I’ve been to countless Caribbean restaurants over the years, and while they all offer something special, Kingston Tropical is at the top of my list. It’s definitely worth the trip to the upper Bronx.

I visited the restaurant yesterday and tried both the chicken and beef dishes. The beef was quite tasty, though a bit spicy for my taste; I wasn’t sure if there was an option for mild instead of spicy. The chicken was also good—I enjoyed it for the first time. The portion sizes are generous and filled me up quickly. Thank you to the staff for being kind and polite!

Busy line 6 people when I got there. And now I see why the meatloaf patty is the bomb. The prices someone posted are out of date, everything is .50, except the coco bread, more but worth it. Very good patties and everything but they need to keep bread separate from patties and put them in individual bags. Learn to listen to customers ! The way you bag causes confusion. Try to give good service and your customers will be happy and return!

The beef patty and coco bread were truly amazing. Went on a Sunday bakery was a little sparse of other baked goods but the patties and coco bread were coming out hot abundantly fresh.

Veggie patties and chicken patties are delicious. Although they said they don't make the Coco bread there it sure does taste like it. Yummmmmmmyyyy.
