During our visit, we sampled several beers along with some snacks. Pints are around $7, which is reasonable for a craft brewery. The standout for us was the Baltic Porter, rich with aromas of coffee and dark chocolate, and hints of fig and raisin. It packs a punch at 9.8% ABV, making it quite a heavy choice. For snacks, you can enjoy items like $4 bags of cashews.

What an amazing find! I must have walked past this place countless times without noticing it until recently. We attended one of their events featuring a fireside chat with one of the owners of Carnivore, a butcher and restaurant in Oak Park. My husband and I had a fantastic time. I really appreciate that the bar doesn't have any TVs, making it feel incredibly cozy. Although I'm not a beer expert, I truly enjoyed the Dunkel. I’m already looking forward to returning on the weekend to sample the food from Carnivore along with my beer!

In my opinion, Kinslahger produces some of the finest beer in the Chicagoland area. Their Dunkel is arguably the most authentic you'll discover on this side of the Atlantic, and their rotating specialty brews—my current favorite being the India Pale Lager (IPL)—are consistently impressive and worth a try. They also offer occasional weekly specials, like barrel-aged and other flavored options, most of which I've enjoyed. The taproom is my go-to spot for a relaxing Sunday afternoon. Great beer and great company!
We have been visiting Kinslahger since it first opened, and it has become one of our favorite spots. We love their popular flagship beers, as well as their inventive Weekly Kinsman, Oktoberfests, and other special releases. The atmosphere is cozy, making it a perfect place to relax, or you can grab some beers to go if you're short on time. The owners and staff are incredibly friendly. We highly recommend supporting this wonderful small business and enjoying local brews!
Charming local brewery in Oak Park that's perfect for unwinding after work. I received a gift card and decided to bring along a good friend who enjoys beer, as I don’t drink it myself. He remarked that the beer was decent. The bartender was friendly and attentive, which added to the pleasant experience. They also have a selection of board games and cards available on a shelf in the back. Overall, it's a lovely spot to relax, enjoy some beer, and soak up the good vibes.
