Kintaro - Reservar una mesa

my opinion on kintaro will resemble, in mind, the contribution of hervé b. indeed, this establishment is part of the very long list of Asian restaurants offering Japanese, Chinese and Thai cuisine in the island of france. It's not better or worse than elsewhere. The kintaro is made in the classic: a decoration with a veneer and red colour, an aquarium filled with fish too big for the space assigned to them, chairs with similicuir seating, a blue and white dishes. not forgetting a card charged at relatively attractive prices. The reception and service are friendly, all with a smile, which is not always the case in these establishments. It's worth noting. Whose kitchen? I got a Thai shrimp salad. For me, this salad is composed of shrimps, cucumbers, coriander, peppers, green lemon. Or, what was served to me did not look like that at all! Certainly, there were some (rare) shrimps, some chili peppers but above all. industrial crab crumbs, lettuce leaves and a sauce too vinegar with too much garlic in which the salad was swimming! the beef with onions and the Cantonese rice followed. the portions were really copyy and, good point, the meat dish was not composed of 75% onions and 25% beef. The meat was served generously. Unfortunately very slightly rubbery, it was something and the same was true for the Cantonese rice. It didn't stop me from finishing my dishes, you have to be honest in the contributions. All for 19 € (with half a bottle of gaseous water.) for a quick lunch break, once passing, it is suitable but without more (there are other restaurants to melun.) I do not share the five stars of some reviews but I have difficulty understanding the opinions to one or two stars. Even if the food is not excellent, it is not infect either. at this price, you should not expect high quality cuisine.

We went to kintaro once. We weren't surprised here. But finally, at kintaro, you have at least the assurance of finding classic sushi, pretty good. And then you'll forget.

having tested several restaurants in and around melun, it is affordable but especially very good in terms of sushi and sashimis. The boss is very nice and very helpful. I recommend 100%

I often go to kintaro, the quality is at the rendezvous, the prices are correct to see very correct, only flat, I find the service much too fast! !
