Kirchheurige - Hofstadter

Heuriges are only open a certain amount of weeks a year as they only sell their own wine. Now-a-days many of them have proper restaurant facilities as does the Kirchheurige. During the week from Monday to Friday they also have a fixed meal at a fixed price as well as a la carte. In summer it is lovely to visit the heurige as it is possible to sit out in the courtyard. The Kirchheurige is also one of the heuriges participating in the Guntramsdorfer wine festival the "Jacobi Tage" with live music in front of the church. If you want a good glass of wine and a good meal this is the place for you. If you are staying in Vienna the Kirchheurige is easy to reach on the Badner Bahn.

This Heuriger is offering cold and warm food. Very traditional food and good and solid wine. Very friendly service. At the weekend it is recommended to reserve a place in advance.
