Kirkby Valley Golf Club

Having booked this for its location and view of the golf course we came here after a funeral. Greeted by Tony all organised for mourners to get a drink on entering and food to be brought in approximately half a hour after arrival. Staff so respectful in circumstances and buffet was outstanding for price paid. Freshly made sandwiches, pasta,salad,wraps etc. Scones and fresh cream. Tea, Coffee or Drinks from the bar. You can just enter the club House if wanting to eat which is why we came across it originally for a quick bite. I liked the friendly banter along with my lunch. They can do other occasions much happier ones I would urge you to try if local to you. They will work their menu to suit...

I attended a function at this restaurant and it was excellent. Tony was very organized and the buffet was both delicious and well presented. There were no long lines or wait times at the bar, which was a pleasant surprise. The staff were efficient, friendly, and willing to help with anything we needed. I have also visited during the day and the venue offers beautiful views of the golf course. The club house has a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, making it a great spot to visit even if you're not playing golf. The venue is the perfect size for events, with nicely dressed tables and a clean environment. I highly recommend this venue for any occasion.

I became a full member at Kirkby Valley this year and it is a fantastic golf course to play on. The layout and drainage improvements have really enhanced the course's appearance. I invited some friends to play and they are now considering becoming members because they were so impressed with Kirkby Valley. The staff are all wonderful, from the maintenance workers on the course to the friendly reception and bar staff who always make you feel welcome. I highly recommend coming for a round, as you will definitely want to return.

Told the pie and a pint was included in the golf. The first group backbquestioned this and said it was a great deal and are you sure? To which the barman said yes! Then after we played and had the pie and pint the chap from the golf shop came out with an apalling attitude saying we had to pay £5 each as it was for another society. I recently played a round at the Kirkby Golf Course and was pleased to see that the drainage has improved and the greens are in much better condition. I will definitely be returning for another round in the future.
