I wasn't there when it was in the afternoon, but it looked very impressive. they had outside seats with heating all very nicely made tasteful. the menu was varied, but they can only go for drinks. I thought it was worth checking the .worth s visit it was born after a south shields lad in 1892 and died of anzio cove galipoli in 1915. he was a stretchable bear and he and his donkey duffy were mentioned in a book about the war
Place has been open a week. No handsantiser at the door. It had run out and not been replaced. Tables in the carpet area were filthy. Carpet area hadn't been hoovered. Toilet door wouldn't shut and no toilet roll. But you could get a free game of pool if you dared to pick the pool cue....won't be returning
I had the Yorkie wrap. The chips and gravy it came with were spot on the Yorkie wrap was the worst I've ever had. I couldn't cut through the Yorkshire and when I got the beef out i couldn't eat that I couldn't give more than 1 star for good chips and gravy
The food is amazing, and the staff is wonderful. If you're in South Shields, it's a great spot for coffee or a pint as well. I highly recommend trying all three! Reserva una mesa ahora
While it competes with the Customs House in South Shields, the Westovians Theatre often showcases some delightful performances. The atmosphere is charming...
I highly recommend this restaurant! The food is delicious, and the portion sizes are generous. The staff is warm and polite. I will definitely be returning.
No DJ anymore, music that was played mostly remixes not much popular music anymore, not at all like it once was (pre covid).
