Kisamos Greek Taverna

My partner spoke very highly of this place and we finally got around to visiting last weekend. We came here for lunch and I'm so glad that we did. This is probably the best Greek food I've had, the whole time I've been in BC which is over 5 years now. My partner ordered the moussaka and I ordered the vegetarian equivalent, the boureki, which was so yummy. Both meals came with salad, rice and fried potatoes. Plus we got some pita bread as a starter. The staff are warm and friendly. The food was great and I'm look forward to coming back in the future.

I’ve been here many times over the years. It’s a great spot for Greek and must try’s include the roast lamb and dolmathes. Food is pretty consistently good, with some days being better than others. Unfortunately, the service is quite hit or miss here with one of the times having a server who was straight up rude. I recommend doing take out as the restaurant is quite small and can get super busy.

The staff were super friendly, smiling, polite and knew their menu and what was in each dish very well. Prices are reasonable. The only negative is that it can be difficult to find parking nearby. Not too far to walk from where there's a parking lot. Parking: There's a paid and free parking lot on 1st Ave. between Moncton and Bayview about 2 short blocks from Kisamos.

the seafood is so fresh and the dolmas very soft and spiced. fantastic fried squid. best shrimp ever. the appetizer platter is a great deal if you want a little bit of everything. went for lunch one day and was surprised because i did not expect to encounter the best greek food ive had in canada. Very nice authentic Greek Taverna. Food was delicious, we ordered almost everything on the menu between everyone in our party. Service was fantastic, very warm, welcoming, and quick. Atmosphere was nice, of course, being surrounded by the Steveston area.

Terrific time here to hang out with friends and enjoy Steveston village. Really nice service from Crystal, super attentive. Potato, rice, salad were sooo enjoyable. Lamb was slightly gamy, so depends if you like that or not.

We have been eating their delicious food for years, and we've never been disappointed. Excellent food and excellent service. Definitely the best in town!!!

Roast lamb is great, calamari is fantastic...most everything I've tried has been great. Try the ek-mek for dessert.... you're welcome ? Reserva una mesa ahora

Last visited 6 yrs ago, probably don't have luck to revisit, but was a nice place, chef was also a great guy
