As for the food, it was not fresh, lacking flavor and care. There was no explanation of the dishes being served. I found myself repeatedly asking the young man (who was not the chef) what type of fish I was being presented with, but his English was difficult to understand. When attempting to eat the sushi, the rice consistently fell apart beneath the fish.
For over $200 per person, this is not the level of food or service one should expect. I won't be returning, and it's a shame.
One suggestion for the restaurant: think about implementing a no-phones policy at the counter. I would rather not have my evening disrupted by TikTok videos and loud sound effects. Also, please keep the Uber drivers away—diners shouldn't have to hear the chef or waitstaff yelling across the restaurant.

The chef was kind, friendly and a true sushi master. He was excited to share details about his passion — from his epic overnight supply chain bringing in the freshest fish from Tokyo to his personal favorites along the way. Omakase makes for a special, delightful experience!
The omakase dishes were quite inconsistent, lacking the impressive presentation and flavor I was hoping for. The cocktails were also underwhelming. On the positive side, the ambiance and decor were nice. It’s worth trying once, but I probably won’t be coming back.
I absolutely loved the Omakase sushi – it was incredibly delicious! However, the roll didn't quite meet my expectations. I must say, the Omakase experience at this restaurant is phenomenal and truly exceptional.
They no longer are associated with the Kissaki brand has gone way downhill. Not worth the prices at all. Save your money.
