The food was fine—it was good sushi. However, the environment rubbed me the wrong way, in that it seemed a little “too comfortable.” One server in particular socialized a bit too much with certain guests, taking precious time away from others who were waiting to be seated, have their own order taken, etc. One couple in particular were standing at the front, waiting to be greeted. Meanwhile, the server was socializing, talking about a recent retreat that he went to over the weekend with his girlfriend. The food, is always amazingly tasty and original. They *need* more staff!!! Went for my birthday and got there @6pm, was still waiting on one of our four rolls at 7:50 pm. We watched the other two servers constantly check on their tables, but we were forgotten about by our server guy. He did give us a wine glass on the house after we waited a half hour for the third roll. The first two rolls and edemame were received pretty quickly. This was my third or fourth visit to Kizuna, and it will not be my last. We love the atmosphere. Nice and quiet. At first it was a bit crowded, but everyone left and my friend and I had half the restaurant to ourselves. Now to the Sushi. I started with the River Beast and my friend had the Dragon. Both were fantastic. I love the earthy taste and feel of the black rice. The fish was fresh, and the veggies were crunchy. To finish off the night we shared the Spicy Tataki with Black Rice instead of white. It was amazing! It comes on a special flaming plate. They appeared to have limited staff and staff in training so it is important to know that service is a little slow and reminders are needed after ordering a second drink and getting items from the kitchen was delayed. They were also out of white rice which is kind of a big deal given that it’s a sushi place. They were very quick in making the food and the server was very on top of everything. The staff was very nice and helpful. The food was really good. I like that they give more pieces per roll than a normal sushi restaurant.

Best sushi around! Had the 'Anne, thumbs up and 'Black Monster rolls as well as miso soup and edamame. I ordered the black and gold saki very good as well as a very interesting albeit confusing) presentation.

The food was good. The service was terrible. First the waiter forgot our drinks, then he forgot our food. We had to remind him (while he was wandering around) that we ordered a soft drink and tea.

Enrique Gino have this place dialed in. Best sushi experience available, period. The medley of flavor, texture, presentation is second to none.

Super yummy sushi. Many of the rolls have black rice. We loved the spice and freshness.they only serve wine, beer and sake. Will be back again
