It was our first visit to Klasske's Bistro while we were in Kamloops for my son’s baseball tournament. We were craving donairs, and the staff at the counter was friendly and very helpful. She explained the build-your-own option, set menu items, and told us about the special. We decided on the two Halifax specials. My husband requested no tomatoes, and she carefully noted it on our order. However, when we got back to our hotel, both donairs still had tomatoes. I never expected to leave a negative review for this place, but here we are. We ordered two regular Halifax Donairs for pickup. My girlfriend called ahead to inform them about heavy traffic caused by a truck blocking a lane in Valleyview and asked them to hold off on making the donairs. Unfortunately, they had already prepared them but assured her they would keep them warm. However, when she arrived, both donairs were completely cold. Once we got home and opened them, they were a mess: cold food, poor customer service, and the donair immediately fell apart because the wrapper had been partially tucked inside it. On our way back from Banff, we decided to stop at Klasske's Bistro after a disappointing experience elsewhere. I'm glad we did.
