There were six of us at Restaurant Kle for dinner and we paid around CHF 1,000 for the 3 or 4-course menu with accompanying wine. After that we left hungry. The amuse bouche consisted of half-baked rolls that were doused with oil, plus there was a mini bowl of pickled vegetables, a red tomato paste, hummus pureed beyond recognition and mayonnaise. We spent a wonderful evening in the living room on the 1st floor with Spanish guests from the Basque Country, Barcelona, Galicia and Madrid. The food was fantastic, the recommended wines were a delight (an Adank's Brut NV, a Churer Charonnny, a Pinot Nor from Carina Kunz labeled with handwritten wisdom and a Barolo) Gracias, Ananda, for the inspiration of the presentation of platos in Spanish and English, attentive service and a gradable atmosphere.

The waitress who seated us wasn't very friendly and looked very critical, even though we had a reservation. The food was mostly very good. 2/6 courses were moderate. Incredibly great food intense in flavour, different textures and temperatures and lovely presentation. Plus everything plant based great. The prices, on the other hand, are very borderline even for Zurich. Tip: Order supplement. We reordered a total of 3 times from two different courses. Without the supplements it would have been a bit too little for us.
