I visited this restaurant about a year ago and had the Cheap n Nasty breakfast for $6.50. I wasn't impressed and thought I would avoid going back in the future. However, I noticed the price had increased to $7 last week, so I decided to give it another chance today. I ordered two breakfast specials and was informed by the lady that it would be $18. I questioned the price increase and was told that they had raised their prices to $8 per special. When I pointed out that should make it $16, she explained that there was an additional $1 charge per person for ordering the eggs poached instead of fried, which amounted to a 12.5% increase. we live in front of the place and were not in one place, so we thought we would go a bit. poster outside advertised English pub food on a Saturday night, but when we came in, we were told that this was now finished. they must update. there are signage and their website with real information. place was completely empty, very ordinary menu and wine list that have not changed for years. we went after a drink and spent our money elsewhere. they need to spend some money to do the place, update their menu if they want to keep up with the competition.
This popular cafe, which is licensed, hosts a roast night every Thursday. For $15.90, diners can choose from pork, beef, ham, or a combination of meats, along with an apple and cream cobbler for dessert. The drinks were also reasonably priced; we enjoyed a bottle of Hardy's pinot for $23.90. It's recommended to arrive early or make a reservation, as the restaurant was quite busy when we arrived at 6pm, with most tables already taken or reserved. It's great value for a delicious meal.
my wife for what I thought would be a nice relaxing meal. the hotel is located near the kais with all expensive boats. the place was dirty, wasted food on the floor. the meal was the second class with a first class price tag. combo seafood, taken from a frozen package and placed on a brow chips. could have prepared a lot better in local fishing business for half price. mango smooth was cold without mango taste.

I could not seem to find small in runaway bay on the marina - not sure if there is a small in the surfers paradise if there is, I will not go there! Klein’s in runaway bay is in an ordinary position could be as much...better as it is on the marina, ordinary service, ordinary coffee and ordinary eating. if there are so many other places to choose from the gold coast, why should they go back?
We had visited this restaurant a few times a couple of years ago when we lived nearby, so we decided to give it another try. Unfortunately, it was disappointing. The food was bland, overcooked, and served cold. We had to send our dishes back, as did the couple at the table behind us. We won't be returning.
Stopped here for breakfast on a sunday morning, nice spot overlooking the marina. The food was pretty old fashioned and basic but tasted ok. Probably wouldn't rush back though
Best place on the Gold coast for a cheap breakfast. Great outlook and friendly staff. Good place to avoid the crowds.

This has become our “go to” for a top breakfast whenever we visit the GC!! Hats off to both the chef staff!
first visit as a new local, great share cellar. quality. burger was excellent. we're coming back.
