the scarastoba is a pretty little restaurant in the style of a mountain hut. the restaurant is located in the silver valley, just below the kristbergsattel and is therefore also quite easily accessible for hikers from the klostertal. the view from the beautiful terrace down into the silver valley to the montafon is fantastic. the very good food in the montafoner / vorarlberger style are dedicating and very tasty. hiking and mountain bikers come to their costs. we'll be back!
a visit in the nearastoba is always the top of a hike or bike tour at the kristberg. the card is small, varied and therefore everything is fresh! the beer is excellent and fine cold (fohrenburger,) the service is very friendly and the lookout is grandios! always happy again!
it is a small altitude restaurant at the exit of the cable car. and around noon there is affluence both for local dishes and for the terrace in the sun with a panoramic view. the service is efficient, the Austrian specialties are at the rendezvous.

holiday in bartholomäberg with a hike to the bartoba is the ideal combination for young and old, both for families or for single travelers. the great look at the montafon and the walgau reward for the approx. 1.5 hours.
Very good food and even better views. The patio gives an excellent view of Silbertal Valley. Good menu offerings, including a great dessert that was gobbled up by the person in our party who doesn’t even like desserts.
we were on a return swing in the near-astoba during the hike. the terrace is large, the interior small and cozy. the beerentiramisu was very fine. the service was very friendly. only recommended.
