We have just had our wedding here and it was completely wow. I cannot express enough how wonderful and beautiful this wedding venue is. It's absolutely gorgeous. We completely fell in love with it and all our guests gave us compliments throughout on just how beautiful it was. What also really sets this venue apart is just how much they do for you for a wedding. The decoration was all them and it was flawless. This really takes the pressure off and helps to just relax and enjoy the day. We held our wedding at Knowle House on Thursday, August 24th, 2023, and it was an incredible experience from beginning to end. The venue went above and beyond to accommodate all of our requests, with Kelly and Mark being extremely helpful and attentive. Our coordinator, Vicky, and her team were amazing, ensuring that every detail was perfect. The room was beautifully decorated and the three-course meal options were a big hit with our guests. We had our wedding reception at The Knowle and it was truly fantastic! We got married at a local church and were able to get ready at the venue before the service. We returned to The Knowle for canapes, drinks, the wedding breakfast, and the after party. We booked the venue over a year in advance and had excellent communication throughout the process. The staff informed us that they may take longer to respond during the busy wedding season, but we never noticed any delays. My sister and her husband got married here and have had many excellent meals since, so we booked for Christmas Eve hoping to have a jolly evening. How wrong can you be, We were seated well away from other diners though there were several empty tables in between, There was absolutely no atmosphere. We had to ask for our starters to be cleared after sitting for ages with empty plates. The main course(Turkey) was poor rock hard brussels and the roast potatoes had no colour. The pigs in blankets were good! The dessert trolley did not have as much choice as usual and most of them looked bought in. Booked for my mother's 90th Birthday and didn't realise that the restaurant doesn't usually trade on the day that we wanted to book but they took the booking for 14 of us and we had a truly amazing experience and are so grateful that my mum had a fantastic time. Our service Hazel and Keighley were amazing, very attentive and made my mum feel very special and thank you so much for this. The food was superb with Rack of Lamb being the most popular but all dishes were great and to see a dessert trolley took me back to my childhood, the only disappointment was that they took the trolley away after we had all been served and there we were thinking we could enjoy them all. We went to Knowle last night 18th February )for a friends birthday . It was a brilliant night . The staff were absolutely amazing. Nothing was too much trouble and they were all so friendly and welcoming. Congratulations to the chef too as the food was exemplary. It was all served hot and with a smile . The decor, lighting and ambiance in the room were perfect , it had been decorated beautifully. It is the second time we have been to the Knowle , last year for a wedding, and it certainly didn’t disappoint. Thank you to all for making it a perfect night . Would definitely recommend both for food and any event you may wish to celebrate.
We celebrated my parent's 25th wedding anniversary at The Knowle tonight and it was an amazing experience. The food, service, and entertainment by Tina Turner were all outstanding. We enjoyed laughs and dances with the Tina Turner Tribute and the staff, including Owen, Harrison, and Eoghan, provided excellent table service. Vikki and Caitlin at the bar were fantastic, ensuring we had drinks and stayed until we were ready to leave. The staff mentioned deserve special recognition. As a wedding photographer, our work depends on what we are offered as a canvas to work on. Booking a venue that has character it's definitely a great idea. I was stunned by the awesome Knowle House.
