Absolute surprise for those who are looking for really fresh fish without Schicki Micki: In the Knurrhahn you sit slightly antiqued on wooden chairs and benches on tiled floor between ship models (trawlers etc. in glass showers but the fish is the hammer! Large portions at a moderate price (e.g. two pieces of Gedünsteter cod in mustard sauce with parsley potatoes for EUR 14,00 . In itself quite nice but with another person at the table as well as with me the plaice was obviously burned and on the back (you can see it only when you turn the fish) the skin was peeled off, but the leftovers could still clearly see and taste what malheur had happened. Very tasty fresh fish, very nice staff in the restaurant, based on the reviews we went to eat when visiting the Hanseatic city, which I would recommend to all those who visit Bremen and like fish.
