"Love it. One of my go-to-Jap for lunch and dinner. Lovely people and always served with a smile. A bit pricy but it’s a must try contemporary Japanese if that’s what you are craving."

We tried a wide variety of rolls and sushi from the menu, and the service was outstanding throughout. Our waiter provided detailed descriptions of each dish, and he was more than happy to repeat anything we needed. The service was both friendly and prompt; it was clear that our waiter genuinely appreciated the food himself. While the sushi and rolls were all exceptional, it’s important to note that if you're seeking authentic Japanese cuisine, you may not find it here at Kobe Jones. Their approach is more about innovation and creativity rather than sticking to traditional Japanese styles. My wife, who relocated from Japan to Melbourne just four years ago, enjoyed experiencing new flavors, a...

We visited this restaurant for dinner and couldn't decide on our meals, so we opted for their tasting plates. They offer a seafood (kaisen), land and sea (sankai), and land (osusume) tasting plate. While the presentation was appealing, we felt that the price of $55 each wasn't justified by the amount of food served. If I had to choose one again, I would definitely go for the seafood kaisen tasting plate. The seafood was fresh, well-prepared, and nicely spiced. However, the tataki on the land plate was a bit tough, and the volcano rolls were somewhat messy on the plate. It was a hot summer night, and sitting in the dining area without adequate air conditioning was uncomfortable. The service...

Most of the food here was impeccable, with the MS 9+ wagyu, lobster tail and No 1 special the highlights. Sashimi was fresh. Garlic fried rice was difficult to eat on its own serving it in conjunction with the steak or adding some protein to it might have worked better. Dessert was disappointing, with the half melted ice cream forming a congealed mess atop the crepes underneath they should take the ice cream out at the very last minute. Service was disorganised but friendly providing service at the waiting queue and a menu at the table would be nice. For these prices, I would have also liked to see more chef customer interaction. On occasions I had to ask them what I was eating! Overall grea...

Located along the World Trade Centre (WTC) Wharf precinct, Kobe Jones is a waterside restaurant that boasts stunning views. We recently visited to sample their latest menu. Stick with the traditional items and you won't go wrong. We loved the Japanese Eggplant dengaku luscious grilled Japanese eggplant was served with miso marinated tofu, and baked with dengaku sauce until it had a supple and soft texture. Together with fluffy rice, this was comfort food at its best. Reserva una mesa ahora

The food was quite good, but I had purchased a Groupon for the Winter Harvest menu for four people because I preferred the options it offered. However, by the fourth course, I realized we weren't actually being served that menu (none of us really like oysters, which is why I didn't choose the Winter Treat option). By then, I felt it was too late to bring it up. Additionally, the menu we were given was $14 cheaper per person than the one I had paid for.

Service was great, food and price is a different story. Bought the autumn Groupon for 2 and the food wasn’t amazing or anything. Could go to a good local Japanese restaurant to get if not the same, better quality food for less. You get too caught up in the chefs cooking to realise what you’re eating isn’t that great for the price you paid. I didn’t hate it but I feel scammed and won’t be going back.

From the signature dish to dessert, it was an outstanding meal with incredible flavors. The staff was exceptionally friendly and accommodating to the guests. I can't find any faults in the entire experience. I will definitely be returning!

The ambiance is lovely. I tried the teppanyaki, and while it may not be the most interactive experience if you're looking for engagement, the food is quite delicious. The owner is very approachable and genuine. Reserva una mesa ahora
