It is unfortunate that my recent experience with this place has declined from the last. The best part of my August 7, 2023 visit was our chef. He was very personable, and did his food preparation with skill and precision. So what went wrong? Firstly, the miso soup had a peculiar taste, almost as though the water was sitting for a while before it was used. The salad dressing lacked luster and thickness, as though it was watered down to preserve cost. What was mostly disheartening was an 18% service charge was added to the entire bill. When I called the host/manager over to question this, she had mentioned there was a sign in front that indicated the charge would be added to hibachi orders. I...

We visited Kobu last night because I had a craving for Hibachi! This place did not disappoint! The food was excellent, and the cook told us it was his first day on the job. My two boys who can be picky eaters at a hibachi restaurant were gobbling down their food. The service was great. The servers/wait staff were on top of everything. I enjoyed a delightful lunch at this restaurant, where I found the prices to be quite reasonable, ranging from $10 to $20 per person. The food was exceptional, earning a solid 5 out of 5. The service was also commendable, with a rating of 4, making for a pleasant dining experience. The atmosphere was inviting and enjoyable, also rated at 5. I highly recommend trying the Sesame Chicken, Sushi Lunch, and Rolls—they were all standout dishes!

This is a FIVE-STAR BISTRO! When someone claims it's bad, they're not only mistaken, but they also show their ignorance about the full experience! The service is amazing, and the food is delicious (although the fried ice cream was a bit too sweet for my taste). I really dislike Walgreens! *The staff did caution me that consuming hand sanitizer could lead to food poisoning.*

Great selection of vegan sushi at a fair price. The staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating, moving us to a warmer table since the one by the window was chilly. The tofu dish we ordered was fantastic, featuring tasty, hot, and crispy tofu.
