Today, a friend and I went to this restaurant for lunch. We had to pick up the menu from the front counter and find a table to sit at. We were the only customers there at the time. After about 5 minutes, nobody came to take our order or even bring us water. There was a man behind the counter who seemed too busy to help us, and a woman who was sitting and eating. She could have at least moved her food aside to assist us, but instead she went back to eating. It felt like we had to wait for her to finish her meal before we could be served. I used to enjoy dining at this place before the pandemic, but this experience has left me disappointed. I don't plan on returning anytime soon.
A buddy I went there last night, 3/8/2022, for dinner. We ordered Hibachi dinners--shrimp and beef, and shrimp and chicken. So sorry to say this, but I don't recommend this place.I thought they would have a real Hibachi table and cook the food in front of guests. But no, they don't. And they did not have a Japanese chef to do the cooking.The food was served in to-go containers, even if we told them we wanted to eat there. The vegetables were not fresh. The beef was cut into cubes, instead of being served as a steak. The beef tasted nothing like the hibachi beef at other hibachi places.Overall, not recommended. The take-away lesson from the experience is do not eat there
The food here is generally disappointing. We’ve only ever ordered takeout/delivery, but the rolls are so small for the price you pay. It’s not the freshest, nor is it flavorful. However, this is the only sushi place that delivers near us and we can’t help but hope we’ll have a better experience. We also ordered calamari and it was inedible. The calamari was cold/semi-frozen while the breading was soggy and the sauce it came with was not good at all. Only giving a star because they follow order notes. I can’t recommend this place.
For is overpriced for what you get. They have been take-out only for 1.5yrs since covid but charge the same. Quantities seem smaller now. You can easily pay $80+ for 2ppl with 2 entrees sushi for take out! I called to give them another shot to see if they now allow dine-in now that every restaurant I know of now does this and was put on hold for 2min. Customer service is lacking. It used to be good in-person service with decent quantity but feel it has really slipped since Covid and their new policies and procedures.

Visited Kochi this evening for the first time since covid started and was hoping for a great dinner but much to my surprise they changed the whole restaurant. Now it's order from a very changed menu and take to your table since they no longer offer table service. Everything is disposable. The booths are no longer so the comfort experience is gone, now it's table and chairs set up in an area with storage in the way in the dining area. A great restaurant is gone.
This restaurant is not a good place to eat. We were craving sushi and there aren't many options in Tucker. We decided to give this place a try and were disappointed by the high prices for the small portion sizes and lackluster quality of the ingredients. The sushi rolls were bland and unappetizing. Even the fried rice lacked seasoning. The wings from the neighboring restaurant have much better fried rice. We will not be coming back here.
the supplements were a little more expensive than I used. also the place was really hot. we went about an hour before the conclusion in the summer, but it felt cooler outside than in. also while eating in it is more like a restaurant that just happens to eat some tables for them. so they don't expect a waiter and so.
This place has change so much. I went a few months ago and the fried rice was so hard to chew and I thought, may be this is a one time thing, but after today I will never go back here again. I’m not sure if I got food poisoning or what but definitely not happening again.

For the amount you’ll spend here, you’d get more food at five guys a couple doors down. Tried this place 2 years ago when I moved here and not much has changed since the first visit, small sushi rolls and they seem to be purposely overcharging. I know better now.
I absolutely adore this establishment. I make sure to order the spicy salmon roll with a side of spicy mayo every week! It is incredibly addicting, and the staff does a fantastic job.
