We decided to give this place a shot after hearing wonderful reviews, and we were not disappointed at all. Everything was fantastic! The food was absolutely amazing. We sampled several rolls, and each one was delicious. The ramen and shrimp tempura were both excellent as well. For our appetizer, we had the mixed dip, and I could have eaten more of it—it was so tasty! Our server was incredibly nice and attentive. The restaurant was clean and had a great atmosphere. The owner even introduced himself, and we felt very welcomed by him. I highly recommend this place!
I would definitely return to this restaurant; I really appreciated the service. Ana looked after us and was exceptionally attentive and friendly. The food was delicious, and my favorites were the tuna tartare and the tempura shrimp. My roll, the Ebi Spicy No Sake, was incredibly fresh and flavorful. My husband's roll, the Kokai, was also tasty, but we found that it had too much eel sauce, making it overly sweet and a bit overwhelming. That was the only drawback we encountered.
Never eating here again. We went because it was highly rated. Service was horrible, the manager was also our waiter... we sat for about 30 minutes before even getting drinks, never got a refill even after asking. The place seemed very well staffed and wasn't incredibly busy. The sushi was one of the worst we've had too. One of the rolls was covered in so much Mayo that it's all you could taste. The only thing that was fairly quick was our bill.
First time visit, owner stopped by and explained his Latin fusion aspect of this great place. Make sure you watch the TV by front door, they show a lot of their dishes to help you decide Rolls were awesome, their sliced thin fish was so tender (could be a meal if more), drinks were so on point (we focused on their rum options), and overall our new favorite place. The quality has declined compared to how it used to be. The iced green tea had a sour taste, which was quite surprising. All the sushi rolls were drizzled with a sweet brown sauce—when did that become a thing? Most of the rolls contained shrimp and cream cheese, and several included imitation crab. Why not stick to classic fish without the cream cheese?
Ana was our server. She was very kind and had great recommendations for us. We would ask for her a hundred times more! The food was absolutely to die for and the restaurant is very well kept, fancy, and comfortable! We have come before and will continue to come every time we are in the area.Food: 5/5
