Always on the prowl for good fried chicken and was suggested here by a friend. Overall, solid and would love to come back! Wings (Honey) 4/5 would get again easily. It’s not like Mayo or heavy on honey like most honey flavoured KFC sauces it’s actually more like most places’ soy garlic but even a bit more savoury. Honey is there for sweetness and it works Tenders (garlic) 1 2/5; The garlic was there and it was juicy but the breading was off like it was almost naked and just fried, not much flavour other than garlic and that it’s tenders with no fat doesn’t help all the above. It used to be my go to place for Hite beer and pub fare pre-covid times. Recently looks like the management changed and also the menu. They don't carry Hite anymore. A Korean pub fare without Hite Beer, go figure???. They carry Newcastle, Sapporo, Bluemoon and Modelo on tap. The menu is standard Korean pubfare.. The rice cakes and sandwiches are good. Recently they started carrying Lucky brand Japanese beers. tried two of them. At $10 a piece for 12oz bottles , it is a rip off. The service is average and the TV's need upgrade. An ok place for a quick bite and a beer with friends.
I sort of stumbled into this place accidentally and may it have been the best experience of accidental places to stumble into for some of THE BEST tasting Chicken Sandwiches and other delicacies. Kokio Chicken reminds me of la canción Coquio Castro by Chalino Sanchez... This place has earned a place in my heart. P.S I definitely did not drink beer on the clock...
The staff was friendly, but the Spicy chicken sandwich was just okay. It wasn't crispy enough and lacked seasoning on the chicken. The sauce wasn't very spicy and tasted buttery, and the fries were plain and dry. Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant. There are many other restaurants serving spicy chicken sandwiches that set the bar much higher.

I had never heard of this place, but I seen it on Google maps and I decided to try it one day for lunch. Although it was a little pricey, I really enjoyed it. All I ordered was the half-order of extra spicy fried chicken and it came with a small side salad. My mouth was burning and I was really sweaty by the time I was done eating. IT WAS SPICY!!
I have visited this restaurant many times and the food has always been delicious. However, I recently returned after not going during the pandemic and noticed that the chicken used for their wings and drumsticks has gotten smaller. This has made the overall value not as great as it used to be for the price.
Love this place! Is my second time there and I love the chicken, is so crispy and juicy the teobokki it has a perfect spiciness, the second time I tried the original chicken sandwich and I have no words, is delicious.
I don’t usually post reviews, but for KOKIO CHICKEN I will. The customer service was amazing. 100/10 The food was amazing 100/10. Overall great experience. Would recommend if you’re ever in the area.

I was too hungry to think about taking pictures, so I ordered from Kokio using Doordash. The Sweet Spicy wings were amazing, but the Honeybee flavor was my favorite.
Awesome tasting chicken. Owner is very friendly. I would recommend this place to friends and family. Keep up the great work. Now I know what Kokoo means in Korean.
