For a delicious Viennese cafe experience designed for the locals and not the tourists, come here. Truly excellent croissants, along with traditional Viennese breakfast offerings, and many kinds of cake. Reputed to have the best traditional "Krapfen" (a viennese apricot doughnut available before Lent) in Vienna. Also more modern fare such as yoghurt and fruit and muesli. You can also buy house made chocolates to take home. Very cosy setting, small room with mostly small round marble tables, outside tables when it is warm. Only open till 1pm on Saturdays, closed on Sunday.

They can also buy homemade chocolates to take home. very cozy location, small room with mostly small round marble, exterior when it is warm. open until 1 hour on Saturday, closed on Sunday.

This cafe is a taste of what Vienna was like in the old days. People of all ages come to sit, read the newspaper, have coffee, and eat lovely pastries. As we were sitting, the woman next to us told us how she thought the apple strudel was the best in Vienna. After eating it, I'm inclined to agree. It was divine. One portion was enough for two people and it was very reasonably priced. I will definitely be back soon.

this caffe is a taste of how was in the old days. people of all age groups come to sit, read the time, coffee and eat beautiful baked. when we sat, the woman told us next to us, as she thought that the...approximate strudel was the best in how, after eating it, I am inclined to vote. it was divine. a part was enough for two people and it was very cheap. We found this Cafe by chance - this a very chic neighborhood in Vienna.The cakes are a bit small, but among the very best, and I know no better "Plunder" (sweet croissants) in Vienna; ice is also very good.Cafe is a bit small, not too stylish and certainly not tourist oriented - rather for the locals in the quarter.
