Konditorei-Cafe Weltzer

We stopped here for a well earned drink following our bike ride. We had vouchers from the Donau travel company and we enjoyed very good strong coffee and an Apfelstrudel and Sachertorte. It has a pretty outdoor area close to the Danube. There is a...very good selection of cakes. The interior and the facilities are well kept and clean. Friendly, efficient staff.

it is hard to find a waiter speak English, but they can see all dessert with their eyes and choose one of them. this is the third time that I am in Austria and I tried several apple strudels and that was the best that I had in Austria.

they enjoy a good coffee and rhabarbcake. there is a good collection of traditional cakes and tee. the caffe has a pleasant covered area over the street, with views of the river. this also offers a table service. nice friendly staff.

after a hot morning of cycling it was a dream to stumble over this caffe. a perfect European lunch, which also came with a very appreciated coffee pot. friendly staff would go back in a heartbeat.

the people there were very friendly, but could not speak English at all. Apart from that, I could buy this wonderful bake with an apricot filling that I still dream about.
