Konditorei Heinemann

Heinemann is a legend in the Rhineland - you cannot get better cakes, pastries, chocolates, and sweets of all sorts - anywhere. Heinemann supplies at least one airline with their goods and probably more for all I know! OK, their coffee is nothing to write home about, but their 'Torte' are so good it is difficult to choose!! I live here - I should know!

I do not read or speak German very well, but I got along here just fine even though the staff also didn't speak English. There was a lovely cream cake that still haunts me...there were also some nice chocolates, some of which I bought for gifts to take home. They also have cute teddy bears, on of which ended up with me.

Eine Institution in Mönchengladbach. Wir holen regelmäßig Kuchen vor allem zu besonderen Anlässen natürlich immer bei Heinemann. Mein absoluter Favorit ist die Charlotte Royal!!! Aber egal was ich bisher probiert habe es war lecker.FAZIT: Eine Kuchentrauminstitution

Schönes Ambiente, freundliche Bedienung. Frühstück hervorragend. Bieten zur Mittagszeit auch kleine Gerichte. Die Champagner Kugeln, ein Genuss für den Gaumen. Wir gehen sehr gerne dort hin. Bestes Kaffee in Mönchengladbach.

Great continental breakfast with plenty of choice and very reasonably priced. Pleasant place to enjoy a couple of hours and to get your fill before enjoying the sights of Dusseldorf. Very centrally located.
