Kong BBQ - Reserva de mesa

We arrive for some food at about 22.30 on a Saturday night. They said the kitchen would be closing at 23.00 but said they could fit us in. We decided to go with the set meal option to save time. 7 or 8 courses then landed on our table pretty much all in one go. We had no idea it was this large a meal. We paid $66 each for the pleasure of shoving down all our food in around 45 minutes. In hindsight, we would've rather been told they could not serve us than have a fairly expensive meal in such hurried circumstances. The food was very good, but a little overwhelming when it all comes at once.

Ive heard about Kong and have wanted to come for ages. Seeing we were doing some furniture shopping I grabbed the opportunity. Sort of has a similar vibe to hawker hall but much cosier. The food is as good. We had three of the bite sized starters including the utterly delicious edamame slightly charred with green chile. Then the buns came. Wow....it was hard to pull back. The rice with with kimchi was devine as were the oven cooked Asian mushrooms. Don't overlook the deserts. I love this style of eating....relaxed, delicious, inventive and honest. Service was very friendly.

We had an early dinner at Kong on a week day eve. In fact when we arrived we were the only couple in the place but still the staff sat us in a corner on a 2 person table as they anticipated it getting busy.They were right, it gets busy here and even though Kong has been here for nearly 2 years or so now the crowds still come.The food was good and they were great at adapting my dish to accommodate my intolerances to certain things.Service was good and this place has a trendy vibe to it.

We sat at the counter and watched the food being prepared. We could have had everything that past us. We had particulalry tasty starters of soft shell crab buns. The mains were tasy- a bento and I had a vegetarian option. It is a bit out of the way but good for lunch I suspect when you are out and about. It wasnt jammed but we did go around 2pm on a Thursday afternoon. Great service and not your usual Korean BBQ. Very tasty. Reserva una mesa ahora

Great menu great location and very friendly fun staff. BBQ Tray, Wagyu Dumplings and Miso Eggplant was perfect for 2. Can't wait to come back and work through the menu! Another win for Chris Lucas, clever man!

Wish I could have eaten more, or visited more than once! Lovely waiter, who was very good at helping us to narrow down our choices! Made excellent recommendations, and would certainly go back if I could!

Had a fun night here! The food is unbelievably good, so delicious. The staff were really friendly and the food came out super fast despite being a full house. Would definitely recommend

Being an American from Houston Tx I've eaten a ton of Asian American fusion and this is hands down one of the best I've eaten at.
