I consistently visit this restaurant whenever I'm back in town. The burgers are massive, piled high with toppings and served on a freshly baked, buttery bun. The ice cream is outstanding—made fresh, with a great selection and daily specials that ensure it never gets dull. The service is always quick, the establishment is very clean, and the prices are quite reasonable given the quality and portion sizes. I really wish there were places like this in South Florida!
Seriously good. This is greasy spoon deliciousness. The cheeseburger was the size of a salad plate. The custard is wonderful. They always have vanilla and chocolate and two other daily flavors. They will also give you a monthly schedule of flavors. Should eat there at least once even if fast food is not your thing.
Not a 5 only because Brookfield location amidst the endless and stormy sea of strip malls doesn’t match the authentic fun of the other locations. Otherwise, for the genre, big burgers, frozen custard, Kopps is a 5. Ultra clean, ultra fresh, ultra efficient, and well conceived, per “standard” for the purveyor.
