When we walked in, there was only one other table being served. The staff took our drink orders and the appetizer and kids’ meal right away, but after 30 minutes, we had received only our drinks—no appetizer and no food for my daughter. We placed our order again, and, after another 30 minutes (with just one other table seated plus a new family that arrived), our appetizer and main dishes finally arrived together after a full hour. Unfortunately, my daughter’s food was still missing, so we had to ask about it again. Only then did they put her order in.
The service was terrible (0 out of 5), and the ambiance was lacking (2 out of 5) with no music and poor decor. The food was mediocre at best...
On Sundays they have half priced sushi, the other dishes they sell seem to be nice. I really enjoyed their sushi selection. They only had 1 waiter for the whole place and she was attending about 5 tables so it took some time to get some attention.
The service can be slow; however, this is a family operated business and the sushi is beyond excellent! Nothing beats the half priced sushi they have on the weekends! Would love if it was during the week as well! A+
Bring Your Own Bottle (BYOB). The food and service are both good. It's a family-owned and operated establishment.

I really like Koto, they have good food but, no one there speaks english and it is hard to order.
They're still operating, but they've moved to 4500 Bordentown Ave, Sayreville, NJ.
I would have gave it 4 or 5 but no one there speaks english
Fresh and delicious. All my takeouts were honored on time.
