Kouzu - Reservar una mesa

My family of five dined at Kouzu while on vacation. Each of us felt a very strange vibe at Kouzu. We were seated in a corner of the first level by a woman who then took our drink orders. There was only one or two other tables filled. My son ordered a soda—a coke. She said they didn’t serve any soda in the restaurant. Really? So he instead ordered a water. She proceeded to bring a large bottle of water that she opened in front of us. I asked what it was—that he wanted just a tap water in place of the soda they didn’t carry. The food at this restaurant is excellent overall. I enjoyed sashimi, nigiri, tempura, aubergine, and softshell crab starters, which I highly recommend. The gyoza was also delicious. The sake was good. However, the service was very poor considering the high prices of the establishment. The waitress had poor English and couldn't answer specific questions. Orders were taken piecemeal, despite mentioning in my reservation that it was my wife's special birthday. Unfortunately, nothing special was done or said. Communication was minimal, but another waiter was friendlier. It is possible that the waitress was new to the job. The lack of a personal touch is why I can only give a good overall score,...

fantastic eating and great service: my second visit here and can say that these youngs really passionate about their eating and customer experience. the restaurant was quite full, so we were glad we booked. the whole food was excellent! the sushi rolls and lachs nigiri were really fresh and beautiful. restaurant was nice, eating was incredible, tasty, amazing presentation! also the service was attentive from the waiter and not intrusive. when they go, I recommend the Japanese desserts the mochi! the location is 5 minutes walk from the victoria train station. I was very happy to all of you!

Fantastic food and great service: My 2nd visit here and can say that these guys are really passionate about their food and customer experience. The restaurant was pretty crowded and we were glad we booked. The whole food was excellent! The sushi rolls and salmon nigiri were really fresh and beautiful. Restaurant was nice, the food was incredible, delicious, amazing presentation! The service was also attentive by the waiter and not intrusive. When you go, I recommend the Japanese desserts the mochi! The location is a 5-minute walk from Victoria Train Station. I look forward to all!!

Lovely ambience with high quality food. Only issue is that it's quite a leisurely service so not great if you're limited to an hour. Recommended if you're having a working lunch as it's not noisy and there isn't pressure to leave immediately after service. I'd go again.

Kouzu's food is always outstanding and highly recommended! But the service can be rather slow, even when the restaurant is not very full an area for improvement...
