This was my first visit to this restaurant, but I will definitely be returning. The owners were extremely friendly, making me feel welcome from the moment I walked in. They had no problem accommodating my request for eggs, and the food was delicious and plentiful. I ordered the Little Big Breakfast and a Chocolate Milkshake. The homemade hash browns were flavorful, and I enjoyed the two pieces of toast. The Chocolate Milkshake was rich and chocolatey. There is also a playground outside for kids to enjoy. The rustic building added to the charming atmosphere. I wish I had discovered this gem sooner.
Firstly the location, decoy and atmosphere here is wonderful.However this nice location was ruined by extremely slow service which took 1hour and 23minutes to serve 5 coffees and 2 milk shakes... The business had roughly 20ish guests with roughly 5/6 staff on however it was clear that the barista had no concept of time or creating an order when requested.To then top it off the coffee was mildly warm.Overall it was a waste of time and money and I highly recommend travellers keep to the road when passing by
krack’s peppa the cafe in the rose cottage is a sound! I was often in rose cottage and had no idea that this rustic cafe existed. the menu had a good selection of options for lunch, the usual tariff of burgers and exotic dishes. Today I have. the chicken burger tried and it was delicious and the chips were perfectly cooked and crispy. the staff are friendly, many parking places, sitting in the indoor and outdoor areas and a children's playground.
Krack'd Peppa has become a favourite! The service is always friendly & efficient & the food is excellent. Set in a very relaxing atmosphere, there is inside & outside dining & an outdoor playground area for kids. Tracey, Lachlan & Anthony always give their best to ensure you enjoy a lovely dining experience. It's also very pleasant sitting with a coffee & home made dessert!Food & service you are bound to enjoy!

Easily accessible both on/off Monaro Hwy with a play area for the kids. The kids were also made very welcome. Staff were extremely helpful and food came out within a reasonable timeframe. The serving sizes were large and all the food was yummy. From the mascarpone on the hotcakes to the hashbrown and sausage on the big brekkie. Coffee was good too. Would definitely recommend :)
The chef and a woman were arguing loudly in the kitchen, which made me uncomfortable. When I politely asked for my order, they rushed back into the kitchen and started shouting again. I tried to express my displeasure about the noise, but they ignored me and continued to yell.
I love this place, they have the most amazing southern roasted chickenburger, breakfast and the absolute yummiest hotcakes I had. the owners are courteous and friendly and we always had super service and never a bad meal. coffee is always great.
Three of us were in Canberra for work and wanted to try something different, so we drove to this little restaurant and were pleasantly surprised. The staff was particularly friendly and helpful.

Great place for kids, delicious food and excellent service! Hot cakes were amazing and cosy atmosphere by the fire on a cold Canberra day.
