Bestellen konnten wir sehr schnell, die Vorspeisen kamen auch sehr schnell, der Hauptgang allerdings kam nach 40 Minuten immer noch nicht. Wir konnten von unserem Platz genau sehen das viele Gäste die gut 20 Minuten nach uns gekommen sind zum Teil schon beim Hauptgang waren. Ich habe als Vorspeise Pasta mit Kalbsfleischstreifen und Coctailtomaten und als Hauptspeise Risotto mit gebratenen Garnelen gegessen. Alles hat wunderbar geschmeckt. Dazu kam die Weinempfehlung. Sehr nette Bedienung mit der wir uns wegen unseren Weinvorlieben austauschen konnten und ein ansprechendes Ambiente. Empfehlswert. Das Restaurant befindet sich im Kreuz-Kulturzentrum und wie ich erfahren habe, wurde das Restaurant vor kurzem von einem neuen Inhaber übernommen.
we were about 6 months in the cross eating, we were actually not satisfied with the kitchen performance. we assed the cordon bleu and were disappointed. after long thought we were determined to visit the cross again. my man decided again for the cordon bleu, to our amazement we were very surprised how excellent this was. our appetizer was the tartar, this was also great. we will return to the cross again more often!

Das Hotel Kreuz (mit grossem Saal) empfiehlt sich nebst dem Restaurant (Spezialität: Elsässer Flammkuchen) als Bankett- und Tagungsort. Zentral gelegen (ÖV vor dem Hause) und Bahnhof Jona 100 m entfernt) mit reichlich Parkplätzen erfüllt das Hotel die Bedingungen für die Anfahrt.
Machen Sie einen Bogen um dieses Restaurant!!! Das Stück Fleisch ähnelt einer Schuhsohle. Das panierte Schnitzel lässt zu wünschen übrig. Wir essen noch und da wird schon aufgeräumt. Fazit: weder Grill noch Chill!
