The food and ambiance were truly outstanding! We had to wait for a table since we didn’t make a reservation, which was our mistake. Fortunately, the waiting area was cozy, and the host was polite, keeping us informed about our wait and apologizing for the delays in the kitchen, probably due to current staffing shortages. Our server was friendly and attentive throughout our entire meal. I tried the culotte steak for the first time, and it was amazing. The Maryland crab cakes were also wonderfully delicious, and if you enjoy Brussels sprouts, you’ll love them here. The decor was fresh and elegant, perfectly balanced without feeling pretentious.
Having dined at some of the finest steakhouses in both the US and Europe, I can confidently say that the steaks here rival the very best. They are incredibly flavorful, expertly cooked, and consist of juicy, tender cuts of the highest quality. The side dishes are fresh and delicious, making good use of seasonal ingredients. The drink selection is impressive, and the menu offers a fantastic variety. The service is not only friendly but also efficient. I should note that my review is based on several visits, which highlights the consistent excellence of this restaurant. It truly is a hidden gem!
I’ve been to my fair share of steakhouses, but while exploring this charming little town, I came across a delightful building that caught my eye. I decided to step inside and was pleasantly surprised by the exquisite decor. The service was exceptional, and the food was outstanding. The filet mignon was incredibly tender and practically melted in my mouth, while my wife thoroughly enjoyed the shrimp and grits, which were also fantastic. I've eaten at many steakhouses around the globe, but I’ve never encountered a steak that tasted like just a pound of salt—until my visit to this restaurant. From the reviews I've seen, it appears that some guests actually appreciate heavily salted dishes, which could explain the 5-star ratings. Even the mashed potatoes were way too salty. In my opinion, it was the worst steak I've ever had, and I have no intention of going back.
Our group of four had a wonderful dinner at Prime Cut. The restaurant features a great ambiance, accentuated by a wine vault that used to be a bank, as well as lockers for its loyal customers. We were genuinely impressed by the service and the careful attention to detail!
