When I heard that a Krispy Pizza was coming to Rutgers, New Brunswick I was ecstatic. I knew immediately that it would steal the top of the best pizza in New Brunswick list having been to the Jersey City location and really enjoyed the pizza there. I can honestly say that the New Brunswick location is the same excellent quality as the Jersey City location. The atmosphere is very much the same with a large mural on the wall and a very Italian cashier. There is more indoors seating in the New Brunswick Krispy Pizza than the Jersey City location, but there is also some outdoor seating available which will definitely get used during the spring and summer months. Parking isn't easy for this locat...
Krispy Pizza is a definite go to for some good, reasonably priced, tasty pizza. The staff are friendly and efficient. There is a good selection of pizza, pasta and subs. We tried several different slices on our visit. The regular cheese slice is the quintessential NY style street slice . It 's one of our favorite plain cheese slices. The Sicilian slice had the perfect crispy crust while at the same time was thick but airy and not too dense. Both the Grandma slice and Margherita pizza had that slightly zesty taste from the basil but at the same time had that mild sweetness from the sauce and olive oil. Definite must try if you 've never had one of these slices. The last of our favorite slices...
Maybe I expected more because of the name Krispy Pizza, but as you can see, this pizza is not so crispy, except on the crust. The flavor was OK. I 've definitely had better from local mom and pop shops, as far as flavor and crunch. But, this location is fixed on a college campus, so I 'm sure they will always have their fair share of business, despite their average quality pizza. Don 't go out of your way to try this place. If you 're on campus, REALLY want pizza, this is the last joint open and you 're willing to part with a few dollars/slice, then- go for it.
After waiting two hours for a pizza, we decided to cancel our order. I called after an hour and was informed that they were just starting to distribute the pizzas. Then, when I called again 30 minutes later, I was told that my order had disappeared. While I understand that a busy restaurant can indicate quality, it's essential to inform customers if a pizza might take two hours or more. Lesson learned.

I received an incomplete order, but they were helpful in resolving the issue. They replaced the missing item and delivered it to me, even though I was outside their delivery area. The food was tasty.
I absolutely love the sandwiches at this place! Whenever I'm in the mood for a hot sandwich, Krispy is my go-to choice. Both of the chicken parms are fantastic!
The buffalo wings are delicious and crispy! I added some BWW sauce to them, though, because there wasn't enough sauce on the wings.
I didn't know that pizza could be so delicious and crispy until today. Palermo and chicken vodka slices were delicious.
