At first the staff was very friendly and we liked it. We were the first. Games for kids, all fine. Appetizer was avocado hummus, we asked what was this very hard vegetable, was is cucumber? She came back from the kitchen and said that the cook admitted to have used an unripe avocado, therefore some hard pieces inside. We were shocked but on the same side we appreciated the honesty. Then the kids pizza came, fortunately i saw the hair before they started to eat. When the bill arrived we were surprised that she charged us the hummus, despite the fact it was unripe and we almost did not eat it because it tasted strange with this hard stuff. After not been in Lenk for a few years, Krone Garden is a welcome addition to Lenk. A great place to end a day of hiking with a cold beer or wine and a quick dinner. The pizzas look good! Nice and cozy atmosphere under the trees, especially on a sunny day.

There is a lovely courtyard space to sit and enjoy an aperitif before dinner which we did. However, I’m sorry to say that the food we were served was very bland and the croquette potatoes and veg had all come from the freezer

We were very pleased with our dinners. The dining is beautifully taken care without being pretentious. Service was excellent. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the pinot noir du valais wine.

Rather large restaurant offering good food at reasonable prices from fish to pasta to beef everything including the usual cheese dishes
