Krone China - Reservar una mesa

The excellent food was compounded by a glorious day where the terrace of the Krone right on the river running through Thun becomes a wonderful place to have lunch. The tables are smart and waiters efficient and helpful. We had two chinese menus and found the food to be much better than the regular chinese food you can find in Europe. We also tried the business lunch, a little more expensive but well worth it, especially if you prefer European food. This restaurant also scores high on flexibility: it's good for romantic lunch, lunch among good friends, lunch with family as it's right next to a good-sized playground which our kids loved, and also smart for a business lunch. We found the price - for Switzerland - reasonable for the quality of food and service.

yes, sorry, we were really looking forward to the 1st August menu in the krone. but compared to other years, there was no Swiss cross on the dishes on the menu. a German cook should have something ambitious and offer the guests a 1 August menu. the hals was a warmed plätzli. It looks like we're gonna have to go back to the chinese. Too bad.

together with two other couples we ate in the krone grill in the evening. the card is very varied, eating was very good, the wine card can be seen, the personal friendly, so we were all six people all around satisfied.

an evening meal in the summer on the magnificent terrace on the aare - you can enjoy this in the krone. the grilladen are excellent, the pommes tasty and the prices appropriate. and again.

uninteresting eating. too expensive. about Chinese. also the citizen was under average. only the location is great.
