After a long hike we came to the Kronenhütte mountain lodge on a recommendation from Helmut (Curly) and were warmly welcomed by Lisa and the Junior Chef. The Kronenhütte with its ambience has impressed us completely. We ate sensation cheese and then by far the best Kaiserschmarrn, which we ate on a hut in countless holidays in Allgäu and Austria. Both dishes are an absolute must and must not be missed. Since we have friends in Allgäu, the Kronenhütte mountain lodge will definitely become part of our journeys. Thank you to the entire team for an unforgettable afternoon.
We've been passing several times every vacation for years. And whether in winter during skiing, in summer or autumn it is always beautiful and especially delicious. Interior beautiful rustic decor. Outside great view into the Allgäu. Service is always class, no matter how nice and friendly. The food is always super tasty and you can make it fresh. For us the best cheeses especially with delicious bacon. And you rarely find such a tasty Kaiserschmarn, which is still very elaborately prepared. We look forward to coming back next year.
Great cottage that, so was my impression, has a long history, and very authentic and honest. A little off the main tourist stream, although I am one myself of course. Great food, delicious beer, friendly service. Very pleasant!
