WOW! they have made so many improvements, the restaurant looks great, the staff are the best, and the food will not disappoint. The smoked turkey sandwich was fantastic, I ordered it twice. The best part about the food is it is made in house, bread is local. the price for what you get is reasonable. I suggest stay a night in the hotel, enjoy the hot water and take full advantage of the restaurant. GREAT JOB guys keep it up. This is by far one of my top picks for a restaurant. Forgot to mention the view from the restaurant is unbeatable. The only suggestion I could make is if there is anyway they can put in a roof top patio so you can eat outside when the weather cooperates. Update July 2021...

Camron was our server, provided exceptional service. We had a 5pm dinner reservation as we were staying at the resort for the evening and wanted to stay out and soak as late as possible. The grill opened at 5 and was not busy at this time. We were a bit overwhelmed with the menu but Camron was able to explain everything and make it not so overwhelming. We had the dry rub chicken wings, AH-MAZ-ING! So delicious. The seasoning blend was great and then we had a water dish with lemon in it to rinse our fingers. So fun! We have dined here before, as we try to visit the springs once a year. Now the reason for my updated new review would have to be due to us ordering a dish here that was absolutely outstanding. Last night we decided to try the salt spring mussels appetizer. Incredible!!! Considering we are an eight hour drive from the ocean, I really didn't expect to have a dish like this so far inland, the seasoning of shallots and garlic with the side of Bannock was truly the highlight of the meal. My group and I also ordered the Reubens and one house made beef burger, the Reuben definitely outshine the burger however the burger was still quite tasty. We stayed at the Ainsworth Hot springs and tried their dinner restaurant. It tries to be upscale but we were disappointed. The food choices seemed good and we had both good and bad experiences. The mussels were good but the steak and smashed potatoes (not mashed potatoes) was not that great (especially for the price). Other members of our party had good comments on their food but we weren’t coming back again. The service was mixed. The hostess tried to sit us in a bad table when there were many better tables and booths open. The waiter was good but not very friendly. I went to the Grill portion attached to the hot spring attraction and I would recommend eating elsewhere. The food is overpriced with really cheap push ins, like McCain fries, 14$ Margherita made from the premix and poured over ice???? What??? And in a half glass! Lol! I was expecting at least an actual Margherita glass. The servers was odd, the communication was odd, and then the server became rude when we tried to clarify what was available and what wasn't and he made that out to be our fault. Sorry sir. It's like a very over priced Smittys with fancy plating. I don't recommend.

Our Christmas Eve dinner was ruined by rude and defensive waitress, who overcharged us, not acknowledging it. Didn’t ask how we preferrer our prime rib, bringing it raw and unsuccessfully trying to fix it. Burger for kids PLAIN bun and pattie, any regular coming toppings and cheese are extra pay. Desert for kids the cheapest store bought ice cream on the stick. Front unwelcoming staff. Will never eat there again.

We stayed at the Ainsworth Hot Springs Resort for 3 nights in late September 2021 and enjoyed 2 breakfasts and 3 dinners at the Ktunaxa Grill during our stay. Wow! Everything we ordered from the eggs benedict with trout, oat bowl, mushroom croustade, arugula beet salad, daily pasta feature, Reuben sandwich and more.. was fabulously delicious! Service was fast and friendly too!

Wonderful meal after a hot spring dip What we got -muscles (comes with bannock) -Calamari I'd give both 5 stars . They were cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. Our server was Tilak and he was very professional and courteous. I would highly recommend this place and can't wait to come back Reserva una mesa ahora

Absolutely wonderful food, and our server Rebecca was delightful. Overall a great experience, and the desert (a double chocolate chip cookie sundae! was decadent. We also had a great view of the pools! 10/10 experience.
