The kuckuk is right across the street from the Deutsches Haus located in the older Part of Bad Nauheim.This little Pub is very popular among the natives and the Kurgaeste (spa guests).The food is very good and tasty,and the Drinks are served fast and with a smile.Roswita,the owner is always present and runs the place very affective.You will meet people from all over Germany there in a nice atmosphere.The notice level sometimes is a little loud,but not to worry you are involved and time flys by.The menu is made to please everybody and you will find something you will like.Don't worry about the language,everybody speaks English.Enjoy.
Stumbled across this restaurant by accident. Superb hands on service by the owner who spoke excellent english and was very accomodating She recommended great things off the menu. I gave her a choice of my wine and entree and she served me an incredible Flammekuchen with asparagus, ham, pepperoni and cheese. So good. The wine was perfect also.This was followed by homemade ice cream topped with fresh whipped cream and strawberries. First class.
Typical German welcoming atmosphere and settings. The owners to all they can - and more to please their guests, many of whom seem to be local regulars. The menu offers simple fare, not always really “local” but nevertheless good value for money, fresh ingredients and well prepared. Beers, wines and the food all priced reasonably. Just one complaint, no credit or debit cards other than those issued by German banks. Foreigners, take some cash!
So walking by this is not a standout Resturant from any of the others in this little area of Bad Nauheim, but the character is quite nice. Seems a rather traditional type building, smalllish inside, but warm and cozy.The main courses were somewhat limited (1page), but all of our group had great traditional German meals. Staff was friendly and helpful.May even eat here again this week while I'm here, that says a lot

We stayed with friends who live in Bad Nauheim and they recommended that we try this restaurant. We were very pleased with the food and the service. The restaurant is cozy but pleasant. We tried several local dishes. All delicious. We had reservations and would recommend that you do this so as not to be disappointed.
This is a great place to get german food at reasonable prices. The food is good and the service is excellent. And the atmosphere was great too. We were there on a thursday evening, and the place was crowded with local people.
This is a nice and small restaurant with great specials. I had their Feldsalat and it was superb! Staff and owner are super friendly.
