Kuhn Bacherei Cafe

This has recently opened and I decided to go there as I had to go to the post office and this new place is a few meters away.I must admit that I did not look at the prices before I ordered. I ordered a coffee, a burger and a strawberry cake.To my horror I received the bill and it was really over the top even for Zurich. The burger at 10 CHF was just about, no great shakes except the price, 4.40 CHF for a coffee on the outskirts of Zurich, unheard of, normally expect to pay 4 CHF as is the case in the other two cafe in the area and finally to add insult to injury 3.90 CHF for a "strawberry" cake.Grand total of 18.30 CHF. From Zurich Central Station (S24) to Leimbach or Bus #70 from Morgental to Frymannstrasse directly to the café. Kuhn has an exceptional selection of bread, pastries, cakes, snacks, chocolates, hot/cold drinks and more. Another great advantage of this place...is its massive and spacious sidewalk seating area and the magnificent view of the mountains in the background. The staff is usually friendly, all COVID-19 procedures implemented and the location is set in a quiet neighborhood from the city center.

This coffee has opened for a few months. the prices are in the average city of zurigo but the card has intrigued me. I ordered a summer salad: lollo, cherry tomatoes, hot strawberries, roasted seeds and hot chicken strips. the dish looks well decorated, and the chicken was more than abundant. it would also be enough to order a small portion. the staff is very kind and the warm environment, furnished in the style of Toggenburg. The interior as the terrace, are very spacious.
