I had this place on the list places I wanted to try for a long time. When I walked in and looked at the menu I first shocked by the high prices because it's by no means a high end place. It's very casual and seemed too expensive. I thought maybe it's high because it's very fresh and good, after trying it, it was the opposite. It's was old fishy and the cuts of fish were so chewy fat and thick. It was disgusting and not worth it at all. We got cooked salmon and asked for grilled salmon with nothing on it, they gave us old thin deep fried salmon that was terrible. This place is DELICIOUS! Came in around 4pm on a Saturday and almost all of the tables were occupied. We were seated right away luckily (for a party of 7). Everything was very clean. One person in our party did the majority of the ordering so I don't recall the names of our orders but literally every single plate was SO GOOD. I'm not a huge fan of crab and typically when you go to sushi spots, most of their plates include it. Here, we had so many different options and only one thing we ordered included crab. Overall ok experience. The servers were friendly but not too attentive ie: water, napkins, etc. somewhat overpriced for the quality of food and service. The dynamite was heavy on the mushrooms and skimped on seafood, it was also pretty dry. I asked for spicy mayo and chili oil to mix into it (which they charge for) and it made it better. The caterpillar roll was ok but it had too much eel sauce. The unagi and avocado were definitely overpowered and it added a slight bitterness. I'd get it on the side or ask for easy sauce next time. If I'm in the area I might try this place out again and see how their nigiri is, there are better places

5 of us ordered 10 dishes and every single one of them was DELICIOUS! They have such creative rolls I've never tasted anywhere else. Baked Langostino Roll, Salmon Skin Roll, Crunch Onion Albacore Sashimi are excellent. Fat Avocado, Spicy Garlic Edamameand Chicken Karaage appetitizer were perfect for beer. Lastly I forgot the name of the roll, it was roll with cream cheese ontop was mind blowing. Definately visit again soon.
Rolls are a bit pricy for what's being served, but the fish is always fresh and everything tastes great. Additionally, the rolls are quite a bit bigger than other sushi places I've tried. The service is super quick as well. Overall, good sushi spot when in Glendale.
This is the good stuff. Lots of ways to eat tuna or yellowtail. I'd highly recommend the sashimi dishes with the sauce and jalapeno or the one with the fried onions on tuna. Definitely would come back for those

Always on point!! Everything is always fresh never had any issues. Favorites? green train roll, Jessica albacore, rainbow roll and merry go round roll.
