Kumo Sushi Lounge

I've been there a few times since my fiancé tried. The food is a 5, so many delicious varieties. Try the fried ice cream. It's a great treat at the end of your meal. The price is great. Your money goes far here. There was a long wait every time so I gave it a 4. They make a lot of takeout so it can wait the dining room. The waiters always apologize and compose us with an appetizer or dessert. I never said anything, they're trying to keep the customers happy. The restaurant is very clean. Very recommended if in the area. Came back since my last review and had to make this a 5 star. The same great food with the same great prices. The service was much faster this time. Apparently I'm here so often, the hostess knows me now. Appetizer was roasted Calamari with a kind of spicy dip. Not only did it taste amazing, it was at the table in less than 10 minutes order. Sushi came out shortly after. 5 star rolls as usual. We enjoyed our new favorite desert, fried ice cream. We cut to the amount of rolls we order to ensure that we can order the fried ice cream. Love the new schedule. My phone died on me while I was at the table. Our server took my phone and put it in her charger for a few minutes. This goes beyond and beyond for customers. If in New Milford or in the larger Danbury region, Kumo is a must.

I ordered the Bento box with Sashimi, it comes with miso soup and salad with ginger dressing. Salad is very decent, love the freshness of the cucumber inside, unfortunately there is only one piece. Fish is fresh, speed is very crunchy. Everything is very tasty, except the Californian role that comes with the box. One thing is that there are too many cucumbers in there, another thing is the role is very loose, everything just falls apart when you try to pick it up.

Always very fresh, and very good selection/combinations in the rolls. There are a lot of options which I appreciate. The gyoza are also the best I’ve had in a while. My only regret is that I haven’t ordered them before now because wow, they were tasty. For sure the best sushi in town and maybe even in the greater Danbury area.

The food is great! It's just a shame that my favorite dish costs $22 there if I can pay $11 at noon in other restaurants of the same quality.
