This place has so many options, quick service, and yummy drinks. I had a medium thai tea with boba (at normal sugar and ice levels I think. Cashier didn’t ask about that but they have different levels , my sister had mango slush with mango poppers, and my mom had the grapefruit green tea. All three drinks were delicious. The tapioca was a good size and chewy, but not too chewy, consistency; mango poppers were good too. The size and price match well and I know we’ll be back! Thanks, KFT :
I ordered boba tea for my daughter's birthday and was thrilled to find that I could get it in large quantities (enough for 50 people) at a fantastic price. The boba tea was a huge hit at the party, and both the drinks and tapioca were delicious. I must say, the tapioca had the perfect softness and texture. I absolutely love this location! The owner was incredibly attentive and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed.
It's a great place to explore a wide variety of tea options. Personally, I wasn't a fan of the honey addition, as it had a somewhat chemical taste to me. I also appreciated the option to choose the level of sweetness! I opted for 70%, which turned out to be quite sweet. Next time, I think I'll go for zero or a much lower percentage, depending on the flavor I choose. Definitely worth a visit!
Kung Fu has the most consistent and delicious boba of all the spots in Evanston and Rogers Park. Never too sweet, too much ice, or bland tea, no matter what you order. The fried chicken onigiri with spicy mayo plus a milk tea is a truly wonderful snack any time of day! Horrible horrible horrible! Lady in front over charged me and got my drink wrong I got a medium instead of a large and they put boba and I didn’t want boba. They served three clients that were after me before me.I waited a long time. When I complained that my order was wrong. Lady ignored me and shrugged it off. I will never come here again and I don’t recommend to anyone.
My go-to boba place in Evanston. Although it is a chain, I appreciate the consistent new seasonal flavors and rewards system you can enroll in with their app. Service is always quick and the boba (tapioca pearls) is consistently prepared better than other boba places I have tried. Hate that they charge extra for boba, but just about every boba place does this nowadays.
This is definitely a fantastic boba spot! I highly recommend reducing the sugar level to either 30% or 50%, as that is sweet enough for a delicious drink, whether it's boba or tea. Going for 100% sugar can make the drink unhealthier and taste worse than a moderate amount. Aside from that, it’s a great place!
Seriously a disappointment, had been going here for heres but ya know what happened? They started to put less milk tea in the cups even though I paid the full price. Go to other milk teas around the area then this one. Reserva una mesa ahora
I had a terrible experience at this location. The mango slush I ordered was poorly made despite requesting a fix. The staff showed no concern or willingness to address the issue. Disappointing overall.
