I had heard from friends that Kupel's is one of the very few kosher restaurants in Boston, so I was looking forward to trying their offerings. The bakery was bustling around lunch time on a Sunday. The menu is quite fun each sandwich is an MBTA stop name colored as its respective MBTA line. But, as I experienced, perhaps the fun naming scheme leads to mixups in making the orders. I ordered the Hynes, which is supposed to have egg salad, lox, tomato, and onion. I ended up having tuna salad in my bagel sandwich instead. The tuna salad was pretty unremarkable. Best bagels in Boston area. My family and I have been eating these bagel for over 50 years. We've move south to Westport Ma and every time we're in Brookline or Boston we have to get our hit of Kupel's. Their verity of bagels from everything to the saltiest bagel's to pumpernickel to sesame to what ever. And remember a dozen gets you 13. Besides bagels there cream cheese (lox, chive or plain) and not leaving out the best our last is their whitefish spread. I've turn more people on to that spread! Anyway always busy so on Sunday's get their early this fixture is a Brookline hall of fame establishment.
What a gem of a place! I had to go to Brookline for an MRI and I had never been there before. Kupel’s caught my eye as I was driving by and I had to go check it out. I got an egg and cheese bagel and a blueberry muffin to try and, wowzers, they were absolutely delicious! Staff was friendly and fast in service and I can’t wait to go back again!
I used to work nearby and come here every day for a bagel sandwich for lunch. Their bagels are some of the best outside of NY. They also have yummy baked goods, and I would always check for their 50% off bagged items. They go quickly! Not a ton of parking in this area though : . Fully accessible.

Ordered delivery from here, it took a while so the bagel was not as warm but still tasted perfect. Would definitely try again
Food here was disappointing, bagel was stale, things on inside of sandwich were not good either.
Bagels were great and and you get big portions when it comes to the sandwiches or cream cheese.
Amazing hustle and bustle in the morning. Amazing bagels and pastries. Immaculate vibes.
