Restaurant with authetic Libanese cuisine. Warm welcome, excellent food, small and cosy place with a beautiful garden in the shade and an old historic vaulted cellar. We were recommended the Mäsa-Platte for two persons and were told by the owner a talkative but unobtrusive...person that this covers a lot of special Libanese dishes and as it would be a fairly large amount we should think over whether to order a main dish on top. Das Kwaetier Lateng ist eigentlich eines meiner Lieblingsrestaurants. Ich war immer sehr zufrieden mit dem Essen , dem Service und dem Wein.Letzte Woche war ich wieder da und wir haben u.a. Die Vorspeisenplatte Spezialist für 13.50 bestellt. Darauf gab es 1 Falaffel, 3 Cremes z.B Auberginen , eine Frikadelle , 2 völlig ungenießbar Salate und noch irgendeine Kleinigkeit. Wir haben Preis und Qualität der Platte moniert, aber vergeblich. Ich bin dort wirklich Stammkunden und ich finde , die sollte man doch halten wollen. Und das tut man mit so einer unflexiblen Haltung nicht. Bitte nicht bestellen
This cozy restaurant is located in a alley close to the Rhine-promeande. On heisen summer days as last an oasis of shadow in the rustic garden. The service was at least very friendly and courteous, most of the Lebanese dishes served delicious, fast and fresh. If you want to move away from pizzen and scavenger paths, you'll be fine here. Prices are normal and the ambience is great.
There is a small vegan selection, which is mainly limited to appetizers. We had hummus, falafel, wine leaves, olives and bread with sattar. The portions were small and expensive (5-6 Eur per appetizer). Taste rather moderate. After all, the service was good. The waiter could call us the vegan food. For vegetarians probably better suited.

It was uncanny to sit in the garden and enjoy the delicious food, not a stone's throw away from the Sunday's hustle and bustle in Remagen, but not affected by it. Very friendly and tried staff gladly helped. The portions were fully reasonable and worth their money. Again, we weren't here for the last time...
Leckeres Essen, man kann die Massas, eine Art Tapas getrennt, oder als einzelner Hauptgericht bestellen, freundliches Personal, gerne wieder, zum Empfehlen, als Insider-tipp: Die Lammfillets sind köstlich.
Especially the Lebanese food is very tasty and the staff very friendly. I prefer sitting in the garden in summer time.
