This is a classic Korean-Chinese restaurant. The menu is not very extensive but they specialize to the nth degree on every single item, most of them comfort food dishes. You can't go wrong with anything you order here. My suggestion, if you are into seafood and are up for something with a decent kick, is to go with their #1 item on the menu, spicy seafood noodle soup, aka Jjamppong. Another two must-try are their classic black bean noodle with diced veggies #6), aka Jajangmyeon, and their fried pork with sweet and sour sauce #16), aka Tangsuyuk. These seem deceptively simple dishes, but not many restaurants make them right like this one. They have several table condiments like vinegar, chili...

The taste has changedIs the chef Chinese?Isn’t Jjajangmyeon Jjamppong a Korean food?It doesn't seem to be the traditional Korean Jjajangmyeon Jjamppong.And.. since when did you start serving?Gyo-dong usually has self-serve service here and there... I go there because it's convenient. If you're going to serve, do it properly.Or maybe they serve you carelessly and don't ask for a tip.... He even got annoyed when I didn't tip him, thinking back to the past...If tastes change and people change... it's right not to go.

The japchae rice is listed as meat-free, but it contains pork... I can't eat pork, but I ordered it after looking at the menu and ruined my lunch for the day. I called the restaurant and they said they added beef and pork as well. I always ask what's in it and if I should order it... I just don't want to go.

For the first time in 1964, I tried Jjamppong, which had no taste whatsoever. I thought Jjamppong was a food that could be eaten in any way... Jjamppong is eaten as a soup, but the soup has a bland taste made from water mixed with red pepper powder. The staff were friendly and the restaurant was clean.
